Delete your account

In the Android app

Open your profile/account settings, choose Delete account, read the retention notice, and confirm. If unresolved work, payment obligations, or a provider check prevents completion, follow the explanation shown or contact support. Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account.

Without the app

Email mark@makingthingsforsmiles.com from the email address used for your account with the subject TheLaborhood account deletion. Say that you want your account and associated data deleted. If you cannot access that email address, tell us so we can arrange a proportionate identity check. We verify ownership before processing the request and confirm the result or explain any unresolved obligations.

Request account deletion

If an email app does not open, copy the address above into your email service. Do not send a password, sign-in link, payment card number, bank credential, or identity document.

What deletion changes

Account access ends and sessions and phone-alert registrations are revoked. Profile information and ordinary account content are removed or anonymized. Stored media is scheduled for provider cleanup with retries. Limited transaction and closeout records remain where needed for accounting, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

Local account-level Stripe Customer and connected-account links are retained for 180 days from account deletion and then purged from the restricted closeout record. Transaction-level financial records and records Stripe must retain are separate; they are not all erased at 180 days. See the Privacy policy for retained categories and provider/backups limitations.
