Sign-in or return-link trouble

Start a fresh sign-in from the Android app and use the newest email or provider flow. Keep the original app installed during the return. If a link has expired, request another rather than repeatedly opening it. On a payment return, open the app and refresh the work or wallet status before trying to pay again.

Link Google or Facebook

If you already have a TheLaborhood account, sign in with your existing method first. Open Account, find Sign-in methods, and choose Link Google or Link Facebook. Check the TheLaborhood name and email in the confirmation, then choose a provider account you control. This connects a sign-in method to your current account; it does not combine two TheLaborhood accounts or move someone else’s sign-in.

If social sign-in says your email already has an account, sign in using email, then link the provider. If Facebook does not share an email address, either grant its email permission or sign in using email and link Facebook from Account. Cancel an unfinished link in Sign-in methods or start again after an expired request. Account deletion removes local social sign-in links; it does not delete your Google or Facebook account.

Work, payment, or payout issue

Check the accepted claim, private chat, completion evidence, and latest status. A review or transfer status is different from money arriving in a bank account. For a cancellation, dispute, duplicate payment, or stuck payout, send support the reference and a short explanation. Do not start a second payment to correct a status that has not refreshed.

Safety and unwanted contact

Use Report on the relevant content or member and Block to stop unwanted contact. Contact support to request review of a moderation decision. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services first; this inbox is not an emergency service.

Phone alerts and account controls

Review notification categories in the app and TheLaborhood’s notification permission in Android settings. You can still open the app to check updates when alerts are off. Sign out before another person uses your account. To leave the service, use Delete your account; uninstalling alone is not deletion.
